Carole Gordon & Brooke Gordon
Photography & Digital Enhancement
"Isn't heredity wonderful?" This certainly seems to be the case when it comes to the collaborative team of Carole Gordon and her daughter, Brooke. They share the very same artistic eye, sense of design and attention to detail.
Carole is the photographer, having honed her skills without formal training, since before Brooke was born. She has always been an extremely versatile shooter who is able to capture just about anything and make it look appealing!
In the summer of 1999, while attending a digital photography lecture at a church, Carole had an epiphany! Right then and there she decided to turn her avocation into her vocation. Upon learning all that was possible, she decided on the spot to start a business marketing her talents and enhancing the vast collection of photographs she had captured over the years. Until then, digital manipulation and enhancement had been completely unknown concepts to Carole. Her "creative juices" were overflowing! She was a woman on a mission!
Initially, Carole hired a design firm to assist her in enhancing her photographs. However, after seeing how well her daughter excelled at the Adobe Photoshop course she took on a whim, Carole proposed the idea that Brooke become her new digital illustrator. Since Brooke was searching at the time for a new and exciting career path, they both agreed they would make perfect business partners!
Brooke's expertise and passion for digital enhancement has only strengthened over the years. She never misses an opportunity to pick up tips from the masters at the numerous seminars she attends.
With her amassed skills, Brooke has the ability to digitally customize Carole's beautifully composed photographs; always keeping the clients' specific needs in mind. This high level of customization and eye-catching style helps the mother and daughter team to attract a broad range of licensees. And, they keep coming back for more!
